One of our sister sites, Datamation, is doing a Google Hangout Friday, March 20th at 1:30 PST to discuss the topic of how to hire a mobile app developer. While I’m not personally looking for a mobile development job, I thought this might be an interesting hangout just to see what is said. With mobile development being essential, so it will be interesting to hear what the panel states is important for mobile developers to know today.

The questions that are expected to be covered include the following topics:

  • How do you start the process of building a mobile app?
  • What are the risks of outsourcing mobile apps?
  • How do you know if a mobile developer is good?
  • How do you manage collaboration?

Datamation has brought on a couple of people to panel this discussion including Tim Connor of Cloud City Development, Alex Kira of Parallel Minds, and Rupen Patel of Mercurium. James Maguire will be hosting this for Datamation

The bottom line is, if you are looking to hire a mobile app development team, then this discussion is for you. However, if you are a mobile developer or considering mobile development, then you’re likely to find the discussion also has value! Join tomorrow at 1:30 PST.
