Windows Phone 7 applications are much lower than those for the previous Microsoft mobile operating system and in fact, they are cheaper than all the major app stores with an average price of just $1.95. With 57% of the top 100 applications below $2.00 this is creating quiet a buzz.

Samsung is the overwhelming leader in the Windows Phone 7 device market. At least according to an unofficial poll of Microsoft Windows Phone 7 users. Samsung recorded a 51% share in Windows Phone 7 as compared to 37% for HTC users. The top four also included LG with 9% and Dell with only 3%.
