Windows Server 2012 Goes GA

Microsoft president of Server and Tools Business sector, Satya Nadella, has successfully led his team to providing the company’s overall vision for their new server OS. Windows Server 2012 is now available to all after four longs years of testing and development and ushering in an era of all new cloud operating system and continuing with Microsoft’s goal of broadening access to the cloud with its development of both Windows Azure and Windows Server. Satya also stated that this new cloud-based world will support multiple connected devices, as well as an explosion of data and the growing need to deliver continuous services. Satya’s team has also done a good job of partnering with hardware vendors to develop systems and products that will support Windows Server 2012. OEM partners include Dell, HP, IBM, NEC, Acer, Hitachi and more, all supporting the four different editions of the new OS. These editions include  Datacenter, Standard, Essentials and Foundation with all but the Essentials edition being available now. Essential is expected to be released by the end of this year.
