Windows Phone 7: The Good, Bad and the Ugly

Microsoft is ramping up the feature set with Windows Phone 7, bringing it up to par with the iPhone and other smartphones–almost. Its camera app simplifies the process of taking pics and sharing them on the social networks. Its mobile IE provides the same type of pinching functionality that the iPhone has, and its virtual keyboard is, well, virtually like using a regular keyboard. That said, problems such as the lack of cutting and pasting and a very short battery life are indicative of a first release, something that Microsoft will have to correct just to keep up, let alone get ahead in the mobile marketplace.
