Its quite possible that Microsoft is just over three weeks away from moving Windows 8 to Release To Manufacturing as early as July 15. According to leaks of recent builds of the new OS, a Russian blog was quoted as stating this information just today. They also stated that Microsoft will release this information, officially to the public at this years Microsoft Global eXchange (MGX) which will be hosted in Atlanta GA from July 17 – 20th. MGX is Microsoft’s annual internal meeting for their executives, product managers, sales teams and the like. Read the full story here.
