This week Microsoft and Joyent announced that the initial stable build of Mode.js for Windows servers is available. The Node.js JavaScript engine is the largest of the technologies that the Redmond company has incorporated into its .NET products, and comes with many benefits for developers.
Node.js is actually a server-side JavaScript execution engine, but developers shouldn’t concern themselves with the language used, but rather how it works. Windows OSes are based on the old school client-server architectures, and that’s where Node.js shines by saving execution time, among other things.
