Skype 6.1 provides users with new abilities, including direct integration with Microsoft Outlook. This means users can users call now call and chat with contacts directly from their Outlook Contacts list. It’s also now possible to search, add contacts more easily, and manage accounts from a new profile page. An update for Windows 8 is not included in this update. Since Microsoft is planning to kill their Live Messenger Service and replace it with Skype so they are now encouraging Live Messenger users to merge their contact lists using these new features.
