Microsoft made some changes to their Word web app offering it with SkyDrive cloud storage service, adding a new developer friendly tool set as well as the ability to work with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and other code file types. The new Word web app is an in-browser version of Microsoft’s word processor which includes feature already build into the service since early 2013 and the enhanced app borrows features such as the syntax highlighting from Microsoft’s tools for developers so that when combined with SkyDrive’s collaboration tools, the result is a tool that offers a functional, easy to use tool for developers to access Microsoft’s developer tools like Visual Studio.
