When PolicyPak Software released a new build for the popular PolicyPak Application Manager in January 2014 it extended new support for Microsoft App-V 5.0 as well as, App-V 4.6 and 5.0 “side by side”.

For example, if an admin needs to change a setting in App-V using PolicyPak Application Manager, they don’t have to re-open and re-sequence that package. PolicyPak has baked the ability to deliver application settings using Group Policy into App-V sequences. Additionally as administrator’s transition from App-V 4.6 to 5.0, PolicyPak can work immediately “Side by side” when both App-V 4.6 and App-V 5.0 are installed on the same system. A video overview of how PolicyPak manages App-V sequences (with side-by-side support) can be found on the PolicyPak website and you can read the rest of this Press Release here.
