Phone Support, Mobile Device Management Functionality Added To Google Apps

The lack of phone support with Google Apps for Business has long been a source of contention for developers. This week Google announced that it has added 24/7 phone support, along with mobile device management, to its Google Apps for Business Cloud productivity suite.

The announcement from Google included the fact that admins can now manage groups of Android, iOS and Windows Phone 7 devices using Google Apps. Furthermore, users will be able to set password requirements and roaming system rules for any mobile device that syncs with Google Apps from within the browser.
