Results from a recent international survey of developers has shown that app developers are more interested in developing for Windows Phone 7 than for Apple’s iOS, while interest in Android development remains at the top. Microsoft’s tools and recent deal with Nokia seem to have generated more interest from developers.


Developers expressed an interest in Microsoft’s best-in-class XNA and Silverlight developer tools, which along with an increasing amount of new Xbox developers, is encouraging Microsoft. They plan to release a way for developers to test their Nokia apps long before a Nokia Phone 7 handset is available on the market.
