Windows Phone 7 users will be excited to know that the Windows Phone 7 (WP7) update, codenamed Mango, is now in the hands of cellular carriers for certification and testing. Manufacturers have already been working with the new OS, and the upcoming September launch is right on track.

WP7 device sales have not been as brisk as Microsoft had hoped for, but reviews have been good, and customer satisfaction is high with those who are using the devices. New apps have been released for the OS, including Evernote and IM+), and a slew of new features (over 500) included with the Mango update have provided developers with new opportunities for creating engaging, interactive applications.
