Tightening up the security on email doesn’t necessarily mean that it cant be easier to share and Microsoft today unveiled an updated version of its HealthVault medical records system, during an event at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C. Now emails containing copies of a patient’s medical records will be fully encrypted. Microsoft believes that the new encryption feature will make it easier and safer for both health care records and other medical information to be sent through the HealthVault system.
