As predicted, Microsoft Windows 8 will focus on mobile devises including smartphones and tablets. This is where the ARM version comes into play. And in order to compete with their competitors, Microsoft will also release Windows 8 in a legacy version to enable usage by vendors wanting to apply the OS to such devises as television, Servers and other legacy devices using Intel’s “unified architecture” enabling it to run anywhere.
