Yesterday Windows Home Server ‘Vail’ public preview was slated to expire with no replacement beta available for another four to six weeks. Microsoft however was prompted to issue a workaround to the public release. And while users of the beta server platform weren’t in danger of losing data, they where to be faced with a n hourly reboot, regardless of the fact that the EULA stated that the version they were installing was merely intended for testing purposes only and was not designated for use on production systems.
