Microsoft denied vehemently that the Bing search engine copies search results from Google. The Senior VP for Microsoft’s online services division, Yusuf Mehdi stated “We do not copy results from competitors. Period. Full stop,” Mehdi’s statement of course was only in response to Google’s allegations that Microsoft’s Bing team where monitoring Google’s search traffic and results in order to tweak their own search rankings accordingly.
