Microsoft Messenger is to be replaced by the recently acquired Skype. Microsoft has announced that they will be retiring their instant message chat tool, Messenger, and replace it with Skype’s messaging tool. Microsoft $8.5 BILLION dollar investments rears its expensive head in the form of a Messenger killer, at least its scheduled to do so by March 2012, worldwide but excluding China who’s shut down date is to be announced at a later time.
