Microsoft Security Essentials Free AV Protection Doesnt Stack-up in Quarterly Antivirus Tests

The German Antivirus testing organization AV-Test.org presented their results this week. Microsoft’s antivirus program “Security Essentials” results on its ability to protect users from malware and other security vulnerabilities are out, and it didn’t do well, ranking only 20 out of 22 AV apps tested this quarter.
