Following all the ruckus yesterday over Google’s claim that Microsoft was taking search results from Google, Microsoft’s senior VP of Online Services Division, Yusuf Mehdi reiterated that Google’s claims are totally false stating that “Microsoft does NOT copy results from any of their competitors.” He went on to say that “Microsoft has some of the best minds in the world at work on search quality and relevance, and for a competitor to accuse any one of these people of such activity is just insulting,”. He wrapped up his statement by insisting that Google attempts to catch Microsoft with the honeypot attach was “Click Fraud” however he didn’t go so far as to say whether they would enter into a legal battle over the matter.
