Microsoft Releases Patch to Disable the Autorun Feature

After years of Microsoft urging its users to disable the Autorun feature, which by definition will automatically executes an application when any time of removable media is inserted into a drive by Windows operating system. Microsoft engineers have discovered, finally, that Autorun was being used by most malware authors as an easy means to propagate their malicious code. The new changes to the Autorun feature included in the new Windows 7 OS were followed by Microsoft releasing instructions telling users step by step, how to mimic the same protection on previous versions of the Windows operating systems.
