In an attempt to create a buzz and develop a community around reintegration Hyper-V, Microsoft has hired at least one full-time person to get the ball rolling. Probably not much of an effort but certainly not a nail in the coffin for Hyper-V on OpenStack. OpenStack, a global collaboration of developers and cloud computing technologists developing a platform for public and private clouds, was originally dropped from the last release due to a lack of demand, but Microsoft is now working to reintegrate the solution into Hyper-V.
