Microsoft continues to back their support for open-source technologies with Microsoft Open Technologies latest announcement of their new Kinect Common Bridge. Designed to enable Windows App developers with the ability to integrate Kinect scenarios into the development of their apps and leverage this new and growing technology. With Kinect Common Bridge developer can, for example, build an app that gives the user the ability to control a 3D model animation using their body motion.  Microsoft Open Tech continues to work closely with open-source communities such as openFrameworks (OF) and Cinder and the Kinect for Windows team to integrate the new Kinect Common Bridge in popular creative development libraries and toolkits.
