This week Microsoft released updates for three of its Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) tools: Threat Modeling, MiniFuzz and RegExFuzz. The updates allow developers and partners in the industry to create applications with built-in security functionality.

Microsoft’s SDL tools and methodology have been an industry standard since 2008, and have already been downloaded 700,000 times by developers. The update adds support for Visual Studio (VS and VSTS) and Team Foundation Server (TFS), along with bug fixes submitted by the Microsoft development community.
