Microsoft Merges Office 365 with their Yammer Sales Teams

Microsoft’s plan to merge the Yammer and Office 365 sales teams are designed to put more sales muscle behind Microsoft’s efforts to grow sales of Yammer. Microsoft’s efforts have been moderate in their integration of Yammer into Office 365 since they acquired the social media platform last summer. Clearly they are moving forward at this point at a much quicker pace. This follows on the heels of the March 1 announcement that Microsoft was providing Office 365 and Yammer together as part of Enterprise Agreements. Yammer sales have grown 259 percent and gained 312 new customers since the announcement. Read more here.
