Microsoft Makes Another Attempt to Brighten Silverlight’s Future

Microsoft’s Flash killing browser plug-in has a new challenge ahead of it, other than being the big rival to Adobe’s plug-in. With the release of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 9 there are new standards to live up to and Microsoft has a plan to highlight how well Silverlight will do that for users. Microsoft plans to release Silverlight 5 at this years Mix11 conference along with its list of new abilities including such advances as 3D graphics, crisper text, advanced formatting, remote support, much fast start-up procedure and more.
