Earlier this month Microsoft announced the release of its Dynamics AX 2012 enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite. The release includes new functionality that will encourage third-party customization, and will eventually be released to 36 countries.


Dynamics AX 2012 also features interoperability with other Microsoft software including Microsoft Office 2010, SharePoint 2010, SQL Server 2008 R2 and Visual Studio 2010. The MorphX IDE provides integration from within Visual Studio Tools for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. .NET and X++ projects are stored together in the same code repository, promoting code interoperability.
