Microsoft DPE Builds Deep-Tech to Enlist Top Next-Gen Developer Team

With Microsoft’s Build 2013 developer conference kicking off in June, Microsoft’s DPE unit has launched their new “deep tech” team.  Microsoft’s Developer and Platform Evangelism (DPE) unit has charged the new team with working with top developers outside the company to build next-generation applications on top of the Microsoft platform. The Microsoft new and expanded toolbox includes a host of new technologies that simply did not exist just a few years, ago and include Windows Azure technologies, Bing programming interfaces and datasets, WinRT framework underlying Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.
