Two giants go to work, the world’s largest software manufacturer and the world’s largest automobile maker have announced today that they will be investing nearly $12 million US, or 1 billion yen in a new company to be called the “Toyota Media Service Company”. A company derived to deal with digital offerings for customers. Toyota will create a network based on Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform and is expected to roll-out by 2015. Services will include monitoring and integrating power usage across the users home and the car in order to maximize power efficiencies.
