Once released, Xbox one users will no longer have the need to perform the argues task of entering product codes using the controller, the Xbox One Kinect camera will have the ability to quickly, easily and accurately read the code for them. Currently, the Xbox 360 requires players laboriously type in the codes found on pre-paid Xbox Live cards and the single-use code cards found in new releases which unlock additional content. Each of these codes is a 25-character long mix of letters and numbers. Although it’s possible to use a USB keyboard or the Chat Pad accessory, the majority of gamers use an on-screen virtual keyboard and their gamepad. It’s a slow and error-prone process.
