Windows Developer IoT portal is being released this week and includes a Galileo board with a preview copy of Windows which includes support for the Arduino Wiring API set and includes a clear statement that the Windows image being provided should be used as a proof of concept and to not try running your business or live systems on it. To make things even easier, Microsoft Open Technologies has open sourced much of the toolkit, which will be available on Github in the coming days. There you’ll find full access to toolkit components, documentation, sample projects and shield/library ports for Galileo running Windows. Continue reading here.
