Although Microsoft revealed its revenue earnings on the Surface tablets this week, it failed to release the number of actual units sold nor did they specify the revenue from either the Surface RT or the Surface Pro. By comparison, Apple reported last week that they sold 14.6 million iPads in just the last quarter alone. Needless to say, both Microsoft and their ppartners agree that sales fell short of expectations causing Microsoft to take several extreme measures including the price slash of the RT model to which many believe is too little of a move and far too late at this point.
