According to the announcement made by Microsoft, the new apps for Xbox One and Xbox 360 will likely be available in the US by the holiday season. With the addition of new apps, this brings the total number of available Xbox consoles related apps to about 225. Perhaps not a colossal number, but a lot of apps for a gaming console none the less. In addition, the list of new apps scheduled for consoles will include key apps such as Twitter, Vine, HBO GO, Comedy Central, ShowTime Anytime, and Major League Gaming (MLG), and new apps such as Crunchyroll, GoPro, Filmbox Live, Sky News, KDrama, MLG, NBA, NHL, TuneIn and Vevo.
