Microsoft Announces Alliances for War on iPad

Microsoft this week announced who they are partnering with in the first wave of assaults against Apple’s iPad. Dell, Lenova and Samsung have been named as the first list of manufacturers who will build the custom Windows RT machines and tablets for Microsoft’s new line of products including units with full keyboards, new and improved touchpad solutions, including removable/dockable and the traditional clamshell design. And all running on Britain’s ARM processor. None of which however will be producing Microsoft’s own and highly coveted Surface tablet which Microsoft has made abundantly clear that Microsoft will build their own Surface Tablets.
