Microsoft has announced the new cost for upgrading your Windows machine to the latest and greatest release. Microsoft will graciously allow all users or are currently legally licensed to run any version of Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 to upgrade their systems to the new Windows 8 Professional for a mere $39.99 US later this year when Microsoft releases their new operating system to the masses.
