At Microsoft’s recent developer conference, BUILD, Microsoft unveiled their latest collaboration results with Lego, the SentryBot. The SentryBot is a tiny, yet very powerful robot which features a very unique interactive list of scenarios which are possible only via the Windows 8.1 platform and demonstrates how fun exciting STEM can really be. This particular robotic scenario is built on top of the new LEGO Mindstorms EV3 platform and features two separate Microsoft Surface Po units which leverage the new Windows 8.1 API’s to allow it to easily and fluidly interact directly with LEGO’s Mindstorms Robot.
