Microsoft and Azul Team up for Zulu OpenJDK

Microsoft announced today at the JavaOne 2013 conference in San Francisco that Microsoft Open Technologies and Azul Systems have released Zulu OpenJDK for Windows Azure. Zulu is presented as Azul’s new build of the community-driven open source Java implementation, or OpenJDK and designed for Windows Server running on Azure.  A Zulu technology preview is available now for download and is licensed under the GPLv2 open-source license.
