This week Magic Software announced the release of its uniPaaS 2.0 application framework, which enables developers to create and generate fully compliant .NET applications. uniPaaS is used to create rich internet applications (RIAs) on IBM i, Windows, Linux, and Unix servers.


The uniPaaS 2.0 server runtime was rewritten in .NET, and the Windows Forms .NET library is now used as the GUI front-end for the tool. This allows developers to utilize and integrate many built-in and third-party .NET and Windows Forms services and controls.
