Recently developers have discovered Micrsoft’s plans for the release of the next iteration of Mango, called Tango, as well as another update to be called Apollo, in 2012. Windows Phone 7.5, which is code-named Mango, will be succeeded by Tango, which will be focused on bringing the Mango flavor to more economical smartphones.
Windows Phone 7.5 is still a new platform for developers. Tango is currently in early development stages and is expected to bring budget-priced Nokia smartphones running the Windows Phone OS to developers initially, and then consumers. In addition to the 2012 platform realease, upcoming Windows Phone devices will be equipped with HD-quality screens, allowing them to compete with other leading smartphones.
