Microsoft has been steadily working on the upcoming release of its Mango OS, otherwise known as Windows Phone 7.5. Along with the standard release, observant developers have noticed another version, Mango Commercial Release 2, that recently appeared on the Nokia Lumia 900 spec list.
According to Microsoft, the Mango Commercial Release 2 is actually Mango, along with the 8107 service release, which features a batch of Windows Phone fixes including a fix for the “disappearing keyboard” problem that became notorious. The Redmond company continues to work on the official Mango release, which should happen within the first quarter of the year.
