This years BlackBerry World trade show being held this week, brought the announcement of their new “PlayBook” tablet. That announcement however was dwarfed by Steve Ballmer’s announcement of a new partnership between the software giant and the smartphone giant that would bring Bing to the platform. A deal that wouldn’t normally bring the boss of Microsoft out from behind his desk to announce to the world. Is this an indication of bigger things to come?
