Microsoft this week announced that it will be partnering with Hewlet Parkard in an effort to continue pushing forward advancements in cloud services. As part of the joint effort, Hewlet Parkard has developed a cloud-based development and migration service to accelerate the Azure cloud.

Developers running this new Windows Azure cloud-based application will develop, test and deploy cloud applications in a much more time-effective manner. Director of Enterprise Services for HP India, Marshal Correia, discussed the announcement, stating that “As their needs shift, enterprises want to confidently and rapidly adopt cloud-based applications. HP helps clients speed time to market by transforming or developing new applications, then efficiently and cost-effectively deploying them onto the Windows Azure platform.”
