The apple iPhone and Google Android both boast over 100,000 apps available for their smartphone OS’s. Compared to Microsoft’s current 1,000+ apps provided, as promised on the day of release. However the number of apps may not be as appealing as the type of apps available and the smoothness and reliability of those apps both available and those built in to the OS. So far Microsoft covers the basic like Facebook, Twitter, Netflix, YouTube, The Weather Channel and many more, Microsoft is banking that this will be enough.
