Brazilian developers are eagerly awaiting the release of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, but according to Microsoft, they will have to wait until September 2012. The Redmond company says they expect AX 2012, which is part of Microsoft’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, to become available by that date.
The AX 2012 software was initially presented by Microsoft at a CIO forum in Miami, Florida, and was developed in both English and Spanish. At this time, Microsoft is still working to port the platform to Portuguese. Bureaucracy and high taxes are cited as being obstacles which are delaying the launch.
