Both Microsoft and Adobe Today Shipped Critical Security Updates

Adobe has pushed out fixes for security issues in their Acrobat, Adobe Reader and its Flash Player plugin product lines while Microsoft has released seven different patches addressing over a dozen security holes in Windows and other software provided by the software giant. Microsoft however has not released a patch for a dangerous defect in their Internet Explorer browser which attackers have been actively exploiting for some time and effecting versions 6 thorough 8.
