AppDynamics this week has announced support for Microsoft .NET and Windows Azure, enabling developers to create applications using Java, .NET or a hybrid of both. Real-time visualization functionality for .NET applications, including health and performance across distributed environments, is now possible.

This release also provides the ability to track business transactions that occur in conjunction with your .NET app, providing the developer with additional insights into slowdowns or problems. Diagnostic information on business transactions that pass through an application’s CLRs or JVMs provide complete call stacks for namespaces, classes and methods, allowing you to execute root cause analysis with little effort.
