According to a recent survey from Appcelerator and IDC, app developers are becoming more interested in creating applications for Windows Phone 7. The survey showed that Windows 7 is the third most popular platform for developers, with iOS coming in first and Android second.


This recent survey has shown a leap of 8 percent, the largest increase in the number of developers that were interested in creating apps for the platform since Appcelerator begin surveying developers. Microsoft’s recent deal with Nokia seems to have provided just the boost in developer interest that they were hoping for.
