Open source mobile developers have a new tool available from Adobe this week. Adobe’s PhoneGap is an open-source mobile development framework that creates apps using HTML5, and it now supports Windows Phone 7, along with providing support for Android, iOS, and BlackBerry.

The new release contains OSX, which will cater to developers so they will be able to enhance their apps for Blackberry and Windows Phone 7 devices. For WP7 developers, they will now have full access to PhoneGap’s API which lets them use many new documents and plug-ins. PhoneGap uses basic Web standards technology such as HTML5, that will brige the gap between mobile and Web applications. This program is still in its early stages and the company plans for it to evolve along with Windows Phone 7.
