Qt Development Frameworks recently announced that they have released the latest version of Qt, their cross-platform app and UI framework for Windows, Linux and Mac, along with a new version of Qt that works along with Visual Studio tools. Qt was designed to enable developers to create apps and touch-enabled UI across multiple platforms.
In this release of Qt, Qt Development Frameworks, a spin-off from Nokia, has included Qt platform abstraction, which makes it an easier process to port apps from Qt over to new windowing systems, and threaded OpenGL support has also been added, along with the ability to use Multithreaded HTTP requests.
