All you owners and Surface app developers, who were hoping for a firmware update this month for the device, are plum out of luck.  Microsoft has been in the habit of rolling out their Surface Pro and RT firmware updates on the same day as Patch Tuesday as they push out security fixes over the various products and operating systems. But not this month! So you can stop checking Windows Update for a fix for the numerous issues that still exist with the Pro and the RT tablets, all this most likely has to do with the Surface 2.0 line of products that are expected to be announced on the 23rd of this month.
