Today Microsoft's Home Server team announced the release of a new tool for integrating Windows Phone 7 with Windows Home Server 2011. The Windows Server Solutions Phone Connector for Windows Home Server 2011 RC enables remote server management tasks and relays media streams for Windows Home Server 2011.

WHS 2011 provides a Media panorama which enables the discovery and streaming of media elements that are stored on your server. It enables users to view devices and users that are associated with the home server, and supports live tile displays.
